Winter Meeting Oak Creek, WI. November 9, 2000 The Winter meeting of the West Shore Water Producers was held at the Oak Creek Community Center; and hosted by the Oak Creek Water and Sewer Utility. Registration and Treatment Plant Tours were held from 8:30 –10:30 a.m. with lunch following at the Community Center. Mr. Roger Johnson called the business meeting to order at 12:00 p.m. and suggested the reading of the minutes be dispensed with, as they are available on the WSWP web site. Mr. Jeff Musinski, Treasurer, reported a balance of $3,372.93 as of November 8, 2000. Mr. Johnson announced the officers for the year 2001 as follows: Chair: Ed Gladfelter Vice Chair Ruth Wisniewski Recording Secretary Jeff Musinski Treasurer Lonnie Lamb The Education committee consists of Mike Kosterman (WI) and Gary Williams (IL). A volunteer from Indiana is needed to fill the third position on the committee. Mr. Ed Gladfelter introduced Mr. Don Ashbaugh of the Oak Creek Water and Sewer Utility as this year’s recipient of the Emmet Sutliff Award; and presented him with a plaque on behalf of the West Shore Water Producers. There being no further business, the business meeting was adjourned at 12:20 p.m. The technical sessions for the afternoon program included: A.S.R. in Wisconsin Dan Duchniak & Tom Miller Treatment Plant Expansion Tony Meyers UV Research Project Roger Johnson & Greg Harrington Computers & WSWPA Utilities Ray Ames After the technical session a social time was held from 3:00p.m. –5:00 p.m., which was sponsored by Wisconsin Gas and Water Services.
